Social determinants of health greatly impact cancer disparities. Our team has a series of projects focused on understanding and implementing solutions to overcome these barriers.

We conduct many studies guided by Community Advisory Boards to overcome disparities in cancer care by addressing social determinants in health. Our studies involve community-academic partnerships to advance access and delivery of evidence-based cancer care, precision medicine, and supportive cancer care for low income and racial/ethnic minorities with cancer.
